Things are going well so I’m staying on another week; I’ve been helping the team with small jobs here and there, such as providing copy for another tender for Oliver and typing up copy for a job that Simon is currently focusing on. I’ve also managed to complete my e-mail marketing articles so I hope they meet the right standards! In terms of the social networking campaign, I’ve produced another project plan for the company to carry out and see through. I feel incredibly proud to have helped the company win this job, as I’ve been given the chance to work on the project from the start when I was brainstorming concepts to actually kicking off the campaign and making it live.

I’ve agreed to stay on at Perfect Circle for an extra week to help them kick off stage one of the new campaign we’ve secured. The organisations social networking campaign needs to appeal to a young and mature audience, so I’ve asked for Simon’s help and we brainstormed ideas and shortlisted a few to present to Dave. After getting the go ahead with a name for the group, I created some mock ups of designs, which could be featured on their profiles. I’ve liaised with Dave and Simon by showing them the suggested designs and they are due to go live in the very near future. Success!

During my last week of work experience I’ve tried my hand at writing effective e-mail marketing articles from the research I collated last week and for my first attempt I think it’s gone well. To move one of our projects forward I’ve put together a PowerPoint presentation for Simon- the designer, featuring the copy he will use for different aspects of the website. We’ve had confirmation of a new client joining us…yipee! So I’ve been working alongside the creative team to generate concepts for this new client and have gathered some research to help this session. To end the week on a high, Dave invited me along to help present our ideas in my presentation for a new social networking campaign and I helped the company to secure the job! It’s fantastic news and has made my week! With it being my last week I’m glad to have had the opportunity to gain experience across different departments of the business and to have worked alongside everyone in the team.

Studies show customers that adopt a brand as a result of an experiential connection are far more likely to remain loyal to it and to become brand advocates.
3G phones provide huge opportunities for brands to make that experiential connection a reality.
Today, it was announced that Apple have sold 8.7m iPhones in the three months to March 27 2010- more than double the number it sold in the same period last year- and their 4th Generation iPhone is due in the summer, with their iPad lauching imminently all backed by 20million iTouch sales. All these platforms support 3G apps that can provide brands with the ability to make an experiential connection, build customer loyalty and generate brand advocates.
Their are large sectors of the market that remain unfilled. Manufacturing for example has been slow to seize the opportunity that this channel presents.
Many markets have no representation whatsoever, leaving the way open for brands with vision and clarity to occupy the prized position of ‘first mover status’.
To take your position as a first mover in the market and generate those uniquely prized experiences that your customers demand and see how Perfect Circle can create an army of brand advocates for your brand.

This week I’ve been working on another online project and had experience of building a site map for the company’s potential new website. I have helped the designer by producing a mood board, which has interesting and innovative designs from a range of websites to help them gain a feel for what type of design they want for their website. I have also put my research skills into action by sourcing information relating to effective e-mail marketing practices and tips on how to build a successful website.

We have a new client on board so I’ve been working alongside Oliver to review their current prospectus and have logged in all the changes they want to see in the new prospectus, using Excel. I’ve also helped Jennie by sourcing more potential clients for her and have helped Dave to compile this information.
