MD 0 - 1 Princes Trust
Goalkeeping is a Wednesday night 5-aside passion for our MD (on which if you have a 5 a-side team that fancies a challenge then just let us know) so when one of our clients, North Lancs PCT were short of a goalie to challenge an 11-aside Princes Trust team in a charity match at Morcambes stadium, he was drafted in! Unfortunately, he was helpless to stop the Princes Trust team winning 1-0, though he did get a finger to the ball on its 30 yard route to the top corner, or so he says!
Of course we wanted a shot of him picking the ball out of the net, but all we got we those you see above! If you know anybody with any such images then just us know? Especially, you behind the net with the big camera!
But is goalkeeping the last line of defence, and a specialist position for only the brave? or is it for people who were always picked last, because their outfield skills were non existent?
