South Wales manufacturer Ribbons Ltd has appointed Perfect Circle to redesign its brand identity and deliver a new website platform built in Craft CMS, supporting the company’s next stage of digital growth.
Based in the Rhondda Valley, Ribbons Ltd manufactures high-performance webbing and technical narrow fabrics used across industrial, automotive, lifting, safety and specialist applications. With customers operating both nationally and internationally, the business required a more modern digital platform capable of better communicating its technical capability, manufacturing expertise and sector credibility.
The appointment will see Perfect Circle lead both the visual refresh of the Ribbons brand and the design and build of a new website, focused on improving usability, strengthening product visibility and creating a platform that is easier to manage internally.
Manufacturing businesses often possess deep technical expertise but struggle to communicate complex capability online.
For specialist manufacturers, websites increasingly play a role far beyond brochureware. Buyers, engineers, procurement teams and partners now expect clear product information, technical reassurance and a professional digital experience that reflects operational quality.
The new Ribbons platform will be designed to support these expectations, simplifying navigation, improving content structure and helping users better understand the company’s manufacturing capabilities.
The new platform will be delivered using Craft CMS, providing Ribbons with greater flexibility, streamlined content management and long-term scalability.
Craft CMS was selected to allow the internal team to manage technical content more efficiently, while supporting future expansion as products, sectors and services evolve.
The platform will also provide a more future-proof foundation for ongoing development, enabling the business to update content, case studies and technical information without relying on complex development workflows.
The project also reflects a wider story around industrial resilience and manufacturing confidence across South Wales.
Regions shaped by engineering, production and heavy industry continue to evolve — supported by infrastructure investment, skills development and renewed interest in regional manufacturing capability.
As competition increases across specialist sectors, digital visibility becomes increasingly important in helping businesses communicate expertise, attract opportunity and remain commercially competitive.
For manufacturers operating within historic industrial communities, investment in digital infrastructure can play an important role in supporting long-term growth.
The appointment builds on Perfect Circle’s experience working with specialist manufacturing businesses, including previous work connected to the industrial textiles and belting sector.
This understanding of technical audiences, product communication and industrial buying journeys allows manufacturing websites to move beyond generic marketing language, instead focusing on clarity, confidence and commercial relevance.
The new Ribbons website is scheduled for launch in early 2026.
