A Perfect logo for Burnage Media Arts College
Schools Rebranding- developing brand identities within education
A new look and a whole new way of communicating. That’s exactly what has been happening at Burnage Media Arts College.
To create greater awareness for the school and mark it’s achievement of becoming Manchester’s first media arts college, Perfect Circle was asked to create a new logo that reflected the school, as well as create a student-led marketing campaign.
The school wanted to re-launch their existing identity to match its new status. So, kettle on, and off we went, creating logos until we came up with the answer. A logo that delivered what the students wanted to say - stylish, modern and innovative, mirroring the school’s own qualities.
And it wasn’t exactly back to school for Perfect Circle’s designers in order to execute the marketing campaign, but we worked directly with the students, to deliver a successful and innovative student-led campaign. We utilised many of the latest forms of communication technology, including 48 sheets, 96 sheets, sonic bus shelters, bus adverts, a stylish brochure, and a hugely innovative and successful Bluetooth bus shelter campaign. After all, if you want to talk to youngsters, you need to listen to them first.
The success of the branding campaign has enabled Burnage to further develop its already excellent reputation and gave our team the chance to develop our own skills by playing around with some of the latest communication technology available.
